The hotel is located right in the centre of town, making it convenient for exploring the city. It is very close to the Christmas market, perfect for enjoying the festive atmosphere. the proximity to Holzwickede station also makes it easy to travel to other destinations.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms, which may be inconvenient in warmer weather.

It is an individual hotel, not part of a large chain. The staff identify closely with the hotel and are proud of it. This gave it a different feel. The rooms are reasonably spacious in relation to the price. There is free wi-fi, television, radio and so on. The hotel has an unusual 'retro' style that some will like and others will not. I liked it. Again, for the price, the buffet breakfast was very good, with a reasonable choice of cold and hot food. Good, convenient location just off one of the main shopping streets in the city centre and 10 minutes walk from the station.

Conveniently located close to the city center and shops. The reception and bar are open 24 hours. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food.
The noise from the road was very loud in the early morning. Finding a suitable and safe car park was difficult, and staff didn't give much advice about it.

Great Breakfast and Location During my New Year stay, I liked the breakfast served at the hotel very much; there was a good variety of options and the food was fresh and tasty. the hotel's location was great as it was located within walking distance of public transportation options and was positioned close to many shops and restaurants. the room was also very clean and well-maintained, which was an added bonus.
Expensive prices and Language Barrier the hotel's prices were relatively high, and I felt that I was overcharged for the basic amenities provided. there was a language barrier;

I liked the location of the hotel and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. We were travelling in a group of 13 members of one family and the purpose of our trip was to visit German relatives and to visit the Chrsitmas Markets. We all had large rooms which were ideal for us and all the rooms were very comfortable, if a little dated. The breakfast was very nice, especially the boiled eggs!
